水處理是指為使水質達到一定使用標準而采取的物理、化學措施。飲用水的低標準由環保部門制定。工業用水有自己的要求。水的溫度、顏色、透明度、氣味、味道等物理特性是判斷水質好壞的基本標準。水的化學特性，如其酸堿度、所溶解的固體物濃度和氧氣含量等，也是判斷水質的重要標準。

在生產過程中有以下行業水處理的直接案例：
（1）、電子工業用水：純凈水、蒸餾水、集成電路、硅晶片、顯示管等電子元器件沖洗；
（2）、制藥行業用水：大輸液、針劑、片劑、生化成品、設備清洗等；
（3）、工行業工藝用水：化工循環水、化工產品制造等；
（4）、電力行業鍋爐補給水：火力發電鍋爐、廠礦中高壓鍋爐動力系統；
（5）、食品工業用水：飲用純凈水、飲料、啤酒、白酒、保健品等用水；
（6）、生活飲用水：桶裝水、礦泉水、小區直飲水、學校直飲水；
（7）、其它工藝用水：造紙、電鍍、印染汽車、家電涂裝、鍍膜玻璃、扮裝品、精密化學品等。

Water treatment refers to physical and chemical measures taken to achieve a certain standard of use. The minimum standards for drinking water are set by the environmental protection department. Industrial water has its own requirements. The physical characteristics of water temperature, color, transparency, smell, taste and so on are the basic criteria for judging the quality of water. The chemical properties of water, such as its pH, dissolved solids and oxygen content, are also important criteria for determining water quality.

There are direct cases of water treatment in the following industries in the production process:
(1) Water for electronics industry: flushing of electronic components such as pure water, distilled water, integrated circuits, silicon wafers, display tubes, etc.
(2) Water for the pharmaceutical industry: large infusions, injections, tablets, biochemical products, equipment cleaning, etc.;
(3) Process water for industrial and industrial use: chemical circulating water, chemical product manufacturing, etc.;
(4) Boiler recharge water in power industry: thermal power generation boiler, medium and high pressure boiler power system of factory mine;
(5) Water for food industry: drinking pure water, beverages, beer, liquor, health care products, etc.;
(6) Drinking water: bottled water, mineral water, direct drinking water in the community, direct drinking water in schools;
(7), other process water: paper, electroplating, printing and dyeing cars, home appliance coating, coated glass, cosmetics, precision chemicals.
